NORTH BENCH DOG AND PONY CLUB

The North Bench Dog and Pony Club was legally established on January 16, 2022 to provide recreation for residents and visitors to the North Bench area of Golden, BC. The large tracts of BC public lands in this area have limited to no recreation tenure, and increasing unmanaged recreational use.

The purposes of the Club are to:

1. Maintain recreational trails for the enjoyment of residents and visitors on the North Bench near Golden, BC (CSRD Area A).

2. To develop and maintain a multi-use trail system that respects and includes all users and environmental, historical, and archaeological values.

3. Minimize reliance on volunteers by generating revenue through operations, donations, sponsorship and grants.

4. To work in collaboration with and respect for industrial and commercial land uses, including mining, forestry and motorized commercial recreation.
